When I came into HWL sometime in late 2004 I knew i liked the league and wanted to get involved somehow. I had just left SPL since it was about to close and was asked if I'd be interested in co-commishing HWL and starting my own brand. So after thinking about it I decided it would be fun and had actually came up with a name, Xtreme Championship Wrestling (XCW) now I won't lie to you as I was/am still a big ECW fan but was also interested in CZW and XPW, as well as the shell of whatever NWA was left along with ROH. I decided that we would keep the hardcore aspect going but would have some organized wrestling like some of the companies i mentioned. Once 2005 came along we had a quick draft and XCW was ready to roll.
Now i don't remember the particulars of the draft but i know we each were able to pick 20 wrestlers/teams and anyone left over was able to be used wherever they were needed. As i mentioned in my other post XCW ran under my watch for 30 cycles and produced 5 XCW Champions with 8 total reigns. Those champions were as follows: 1. Blade 2. Eddie Powers 3. Titan 4. Bloodshed Brain 5. Blade 6. David The Destroyer 7. Bloodshed Brain 8. Blade On Blade's 3rd reign, i gave up XCW to at the time the HWL Commissioner to start COH. That was around this time 2007. From there the rest is history...

Funny thing is i was recently asked if I'd be interested in bringing XCW back and having a draft to split up COH and XCW. It's funny as that would mean i get to book a COH, Combat Zone, and XCW show each cycle, plus Main event, Superstars, and Full Impact pro.It would be a little extra work but at he same time would add more titles and devalue others. I shot down the idea but its funny how things come up.
