Hardcore Mania V has come and gone leaving COH Management with numerous opportunities and avenues to travel in the up coming cycles.
First the COH world Championship. Bobby The Gladiator Franklin stated he was a future COH World Champion and when given the opportunity would take advantage of it. well Hardcore Mania was that opportunity and he is our new COH World Champion! David The Destroyer does have a rematch clause so he will get his rematch in the upcoming cycles to give himself the opportunity to become a 5X World Champion.
Keeping on topic with the COH World Championship, there will be a contenders series booked in the upcoming cycles with the top 8 in the rankings having a shot to earn a contract for a World Championship match.
Next we have the HWL World Championship, a title David The Destroyer still holds. WSL Grand Champion Daniel Mims recently made the jump to HWL bringing his title and demanded an HWL World Championship match. COH Management normally wouldn't just hand over a championship match simply because a wrestler jumps from a rival league as their champion BUT do to the fact that WSL was a COH affiliate and Mims had several successful defenses before WSL was released from its affiliation, we agree he does deserve a shot at the title and that match will be signed on an upcoming COH event. Though the WSL Grand Championship is now defunct it will be on the line as well and unified into the HWL world Championship.
Then there was the ICW World Championship, a title we're trying to keep relevant but with no inter-league feuds its become a tough sell to continue this championship and its World title status. We will still continue booking this title for the time being and with a superstar like David The Destroyer carrying the gold the prestige is still there. Destroyer and titan have been having a war of words as of late which saw Destroyer recently defeat Titan. Destroyer's title was on the line and he feels that Titan if granted a rematch needs to put something on the line as well...his career! Titan has agreed so now its up to COH Management to book the match..."title vs. career!"
FIP, CZW, BJXF- the fans and the COH lockeroom love the tours so we'll do our best to continue them. COH Management have already announced the next BJXF tour for the June cycle and the cards will be announced soon. Last cycle Combat Zone came back with an incredible card and the next show has been booked. After the next Combat Zone show we'll book an FIP show and from there on in try to alternate FIP and CZW shows. BJXF will most likely be booked every three or four cycles BUT the championship will still be defended regularly.
FIP Champion- Drake Younger
CZW Champion- Johnny Overdose
BJXF Champion- King Of Hardcore John Campbell
more news to come...
