At COH #77, Candyman Brett Lightning won the Deadly Duo tournament giving him a title shot. Normally that shot is for the COH World Championship but Lightning decide to enter himself into the Extreme Action Championship match and pinned EDGE to win the title.
He will now defend the title at Hardcore Mania V against James Campbell.
